Polish manufacturer of automatic sandblasting systems, stonecutting machines

Autoblaster CNC

AUTOBLASTER CNC has been designed for fully automatic sandblasting of inscriptions and artwork on stone slabs (e.g. tombstones) and glass surfaces with an electrically controlled sandblaster. In the CNC version, you can programme the machine on a laptop with any Windows system. The machine does not require the operator to have any special knowledge or skills, its job being limited to marking working fields and defining parameters in the included software. The technological solutions applied in the machine enable, for instance, sandblasting on multiple marked areas without the need to change the settings. One of the definite advantages is that sandblasting can be done on non-level surfaces.

The included software makes the use of the machine easy and ergonomic. Once programmed, the unit does not need any additional operator intervention. All machining parameters and the settings of the machine itself are displayed using the included software.

When combined with a suitable sandblaster, AUTOBLASTER CNC automatically controls the filter cleaning system and the level of backfilled abrasive. As a result, all the operator need to do is refill the material and remove the dust.

Automatic cleaning of the guides ensures a longer lifetime and reliable operation.

It goes without saying that the most important advantage of the AUTOBLASTER CNC sandblasting table is the excellent price-performance ratio it offers. According to users, the system replaces the work of one person, which means that you can use this time effectively for other work, such as designing another tombstone.

Properties

  • High efficiency; the average sandblasting time for one traditional tombstone is 10-15 minutes The time to sandblast one standard tombstone is between 10-15 minutes, depending on the depth of sandblasting and the number of sandblasted elements. While a tombstone is being sandblasted by the machine, you can perform other work, such as preparing another tombstone, wrapping the tombstone with film, etc.
  • Automatic monitoring of the entire sandblasting process All you need to do is put the inscription slab in the designated place, programme the fields for sandblasting and switch on the “Go” function. The machine is designed to be ready for automatic operation. If the pressure tank runs out of abrasive, the machine will automatically stop, saving the stopping point. After transferring the abrasive into the pressure tank, the machine will return to the stopping point and continue working, or if there is not enough abrasive, it will display the “Refill abrasive” message. Once each field has been sandblasted, the filter is automatically decompressed and cleaned.
  • Control in the PLC version is via a Siemens Simatic PLC touch panel In this version, you do not need to use your laptop, but an industrial controller with a pre-defined programme and specific functions. All settings and commands are stored, and all you need to do is accept them. A wired or wireless remote control (optional) is included.
  • CNC control with included software Just plug in your laptop, upload the software and you can control the machine.
  • Automatic transfer of abrasive material cleaned after processing The machine comes with an automatic start and stop function. When the abrasive level is low, the machine triggers a warning signal and stops sandblasting to automatically refill the abrasive. When the abrasive is refilled, the machine will start exactly where it stopped.
  • Triple automatic abrasive filtration system With the right design of the feed hopper, cyclone and special extraction filter inserts, the machine provides an accurate separation of the abrasive from the post-production dust, allowing the loaded abrasive to be used in the machine for longer.
  • Cyclonic dust separation and filtration system Centrifugal force moves the heavier particles toward the walls of the cyclone, where they lose energy, falling to the bottom of the machine. In this way, the air is cleaned of dust particles, and all light dust is transported to the filter.
  • Pneumatic filter shaking system A clean filter keeps the vacuum cleaner in top working order, so the filter cleaning system is of vital importance. When working with industrial dust, regular filter cleaning is essential. Pneumatic filter shaking relies on a pneumatic battery with a quick-dump valve that releases a large amount of air over a short period of time so that the filter is effectively cleared of dust.
  • Z-axis numerical control allows sandblasting of non-level surfaces For slabs with different thicknesses at both ends, e.g. artistic tombstones, or where there are any irregularities or where the slab is placed at an angle, the Z-axis numerical control allows the sandblasting head to adapt to different slab heights, automatically adjusting the head height to the defined slab surface.
  • Multi-area sandblasting option, with a possibility to design 100 working fields You can easily programme up to 10 fields for a single project, but each field can be composed of 10 areas. This makes it possible to optimise the sandblasting of different shapes.
  • Repeatable operations If you have programmed a project, you can go back and continue with the individual options up to the moment of reference positioning.
  • Automatic cleaning of the guides from dust Consists of introducing positive pressure into the guide housing to prevent dust from entering the guides. This function prolongs the lifetime of carriages.
  • In 99% of cases, diagnostics and service are done remotely (with operator assistance) We contact the user remotely via instant messaging or email to analyse and resolve their problem.
  • A sandblasting table adaptable to any dustless sandblasting machine with specific parameters You can connect the Autoblaster automatic table to any sandblasting machine. What may limit you is only the lack of some features.
  • Thanks to the modular design, upgrades, such as from automatic sandblasting to manual sandblasting, can be done by the operator You can switch from automatic to manual sandblasting. To do this, purchase a head with hoses and a nozzle for manual sandblasting.
  • User-friendly, no specialised skills required from the operator After taking a 2-hour training course, provided as part of installation at the customer’s site, anyone can operate the machine.
  • Machine operation lighting Sandblasting (green light), end of sandblasting (yellow light), safety button (red light).
  • Advanced engineering solutions, such as an abrasive metering valve The valve does not require any manual adjustment of the abrasive-to-air ratio. When on, the valve will automatically dispense the right amount of abrasive in proportion to the amount of air.
  • A decompression system reducing tank pressure in seconds The decompression system reduces the time to complete the sandblasting process by decompressing the pressure vessel.
  • Optimised on-site working time All you need to do is to set the machine’s operating parameters and set it to start. In the meantime, perform another task, for instance designing another tombstone.
  • Energy efficiency The Autoblaster sandblasting table requires a single-phase power supply.
  • Adjustable head height The height of the head can be adjusted up and down within a range of 145mm, which means that you do not need to raise the slab to the height of the head. Just adjust the height of the head to the slab.
